Mathematics Skillbook – Nursery is a carefully designed foundational book for children aged 3 to 5 years, developed as part of the Cocomelon Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) Programme. The book introduces young learners to early mathematical concepts through play-based, activity-oriented, and experiential learning, making mathematics enjoyable and meaningful.

Aligned with the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) 2023, the skillbook focuses on building strong pre-mathematical and numerical foundations. It begins with pre-writing and pre-math concepts such as standing, sleeping, slanting, and swinging lines, gradually moving towards number recognition, counting, shapes, patterns, and comparisons.

The content helps children understand spatial relationships, sorting, ordering, sizes, weights, and number sequencing before progressing to number concepts from 0 to 100. Colourful illustrations, rhymes, puzzles, worksheets, and hands-on activities stimulate curiosity and support cognitive development, logical thinking, and early problem-solving skills.
